Full Stack Developer

Join us and help us structure the global web

Are you an experienced full stack developer, able to deliver a functional application that looks and feels good? Are you up to date with the latest techniques, and ready to put them to practice in maintaining our product? Then we might just be the right fit.

What you'll do

We’re looking for a senior full stack web developer to collaborate closely with our development team, working together to maintain an optimally functioning platform, ensure system consistency, and create a great user experience. Ultimately, your work will have a direct impact on the stability and user experience of our product.

As we’re building our own product, you’ll have freedom in how to approach certain aspects of your work. Your focus will be on precision and quality, rather than speed and deadlines.

Who you are

You like to stay informed of the latest changes and keep up with new developments in the field, and have a good vision of best practices. In addition:

  • You’re proficient in full stack development (3+ years experience)

  • You have experience with Java Spring Boot API development

  • You're skilled in React and frontend development

  • You're proficient with Tailwind CSS for styling

  • You have experience with Golang for backend development and data processing

  • You have experience writing unit and integration tests

  • You've worked on several (medium to large) projects

  • You're solution-oriented, analytical, and critical of your own work

  • You're legally allowed to work in the Netherlands

What we offer

We're a young, dynamic tech company, and you'll be part of a smart, ambitious team on a mission to structure the global web. You’ll get all the benefits of working for an agile scale-up—a relaxed work environment, the possibility to work some days from home, easy-going colleagues, and freedom in your work.

Additionally, we offer you:

  • A competitive salary based on your experience

  • 25 days of paid annual leave*

  • A holiday allowance

  • A good pension insurance

  • An annual budget of €1.200 to spend on professional or personal development

  • The best hardware of your choice: Apple or Linux

  • Hybrid work model: a mix of working from home and in the office

  • A lounge room, an in-office pool table, and a fully equipped canteen

  • Healthy and delicious buffet breakfast and lunch, and a full refrigerator in the office

  • Everything you need to work from home: a screen, keyboard, and mouse

  • €78 budget for a lease bike including maintenance**

  • A €50 internet reimbursement*

  • A monthly Thuisbezorgd budget of €50 to enjoy a meal with your colleagues or family*

  • A monthly sports budget of €40 to stay healthy and in shape: get a gym membership or buy a pair of new sport shoes*

  • A mobile phone and a monthly mobile phone subscription reimbursement of €35*

  • A compensation fee of €2 per day when you work from home

  • Fun events with colleagues: 4 Mijl van Groningen, Startup Weekend Groningen, Thursday Drinks, Board Game Nights, Pub Quizzes, Pizza Knowledge Sessions, Ping-Pong Tournaments and our memorable Dataprovider.com Outings

  • A referral reward program: refer a friend for one of our jobs

    * based on a 40-hour contract ** Additional conditions apply

Dataprovider.com transforms the internet into an ever-growing structured database

The web is the world’s greatest information source—literally and figuratively. It contains more valuable information than all annual reports and trend analyses rolled into one. However, the web is also the greatest source of information chaos: it is difficult to extract qualitative data.

Founded in Groningen in 2012, Dataprovider.com has been structuring relevant digital actions into concrete insights that are used worldwide by leading organizations such as PayPal, Statistics Netherlands, United Nations, GoDaddy, Mollie, Takeaway.com and the investment industry. We’re growing fast, and we’re always on the lookout for new talent!

Our team

Our team consists of a wide range of professionals: data scientists, data support engineers, developers, designers, account managers, and more. It’s a blend of seasoned data engineers and developers who have been working here for years, and ambitious graduates who joined the team while they were students and become an inseparable part of Dataprovider.com ever since.

Our motto is Work hard, work together, and help each other out, always. When we aren’t working hard, we’re eating ice cream (anytime of the day or year) and playing board games, ping-pong, or American pool.
